Visalia Rawhide pitcher Junior Ciprian and catcher Ivan Luciano were named to the 2026 California League All-Star team, the club announced Sept. 15. Both players advanced to High-A Hillsboro during the season.
The announcement and its context
Ciprian made 15 starts for Visalia and recorded a 2.76 ERA with 80 strikeouts in 71⅔ innings. He held opponents to a .176 batting average and moved to Hillsboro on July 17.
Luciano hit .264 with 11 home runs, 50 RBIs and 54 walks in 85 games for Visalia. He started 59 games behind the plate and was promoted Aug. 11.
