University of Southern California Women’s Soccer to Host Oregon on Senior Day at Rawlinson Stadium

USC women’s soccer hosts Oregon on Sept. 18 at Rawlinson Stadium, honoring seven seniors and seeking to rebound from early Big Ten losses.

The University of Southern California women’s soccer team will continue Big Ten play by hosting Oregon on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 6 p.m. PT at Rawlinson Stadium in Los Angeles. The match will serve as Senior Day, as the Trojans honor their senior class prior to kickoff. The seniors recognized will be Mary Cochran, Maya McDermott, Hadley Snyder, Sophia Cavaliere, Amalie Pianim, Alyssa Gonzalez and Hana Mizumoto.

USC holds a commanding 26-3-1 all-time record against Oregon and carries a 13-game winning streak in this rivalry. Their last loss to the Ducks was a 1-0 double overtime defeat on the road in 2012. Last season, the Trojans earned a 1-0 victory over Oregon on the road.

The Trojans are entering their second season playing at Rawlinson Stadium, a $38 million facility that opened in 2025 with a capacity of 2,500 spectators. USC began their 2026 Big Ten campaign with losses against Michigan State and Purdue last week. Head coach Jane Alukonis, in her fifth season and the 2024 Big Ten Coach of the Year, seeks to guide the team to a rebound in front of their home crowd.

Key contributors this season for USC include Eleanor Morrissey, who scored her first career goal against Duke, and Lily Biddulph, who leads the team with three goals and six points. Freshman goalkeeper Josie Biehl has recorded 27 saves, highlighted by a career-high seven saves in a game against Stanford. The program also features preseason players to watch as selected by the Big Ten: Annabel Austen, Mary Cochran and Alyssa Parsons.

The game will be broadcast live on B1G+, with live statistics and updates available through USC women’s soccer social media channels.

CSB Take

The Senior Day game against Oregon offers the University of Southern California women’s soccer team an important opportunity to honor its senior leaders while aiming to improve its start to Big Ten play. With a strong historical advantage over Oregon and experienced leadership from coach Jane Alukonis, the Trojans have a foundation to build upon. Playing in the modern Rawlinson Stadium, USC can leverage this pivotal home game to generate momentum and set a positive tone for the rest of the conference season.
