San Diego Growlers standout Khalif El-Salaam earned Third Team All-UFA recognition in the Ultimate Frisbee Association’s 2026 season awards list, published Sept. 29.
El-Salaam’s season recognition
The Third Team placed El-Salaam alongside six other honorees, including Oakland’s Evan Magsig and Jason Vallee. The league announced First, Second and Third All-UFA teams as part of its season honors.
El-Salaam contributed two assists, four goals and a block in San Diego’s 34–12 win over the Vegas Bighorns on July 18. That game produced team records of 34 goals and 22 break scores.
CSB Take
The selection gives the Growlers individual recognition following their 2026 season. El-Salaam’s productive performance in the regular-season finale provides one example of the contribution behind that honor.
