Four goals after halftime

Layla Simon opened the scoring in the 19th minute. Quinonez added goals in the 53rd and 65th minutes to extend Pepperdine’s advantage. Sam Hosford and Sahaana Potti completed the scoring late in the match.

Pepperdine held a narrow 13–12 advantage in total shots but led 9–4 in shots on goal. Sydni Yoshida attempted four shots for San Francisco, including one on target. Tyra Bengtsson-Stenseth made four saves as the Dons dropped to 3–7–1 overall and 0–4 in the conference.

CSB Take

Pepperdine turned its best chances into a comfortable win despite a close total shot count. Quinonez’s two goals created separation after the break. San Francisco produced attempts, but it needs more of them to test the goalkeeper and fewer defensive breakdowns around its own goal.
