Cal State LA improved as the match progressed and avoided another extended set after splitting the first two. DaCoud’s scoring and Ennis’ all-around contributions helped sustain the finish. Stanislaus State needs cleaner attacking stretches to keep pace when opponents begin converting more efficiently.
