The Cal State Monterey Bay Otters and Chico State Wildcats played to a 1–1 women’s soccer draw on Oct. 11 at Cardinale Stadium in Seaside. Juliana Dow gave Monterey Bay an early lead before Baylee Gregerson equalized. The Otters extended their unbeaten streak to six matches.

Dow scored in the 13th minute from an Ella Schug assist for her seventh goal of the season. Gregerson tied the match in the 70th minute from a Gabby Starr pass. Neither side found another goal in the closing stages.
Willow Baltazar made three saves for Monterey Bay, which moved to 5–2–5 overall and 3–2–3 in CCAA play. Chico State held a 9–8 advantage in shots and a 6–1 edge in corner kicks. Dow led the Otters with four attempts.

Monterey Bay kept its unbeaten run intact but could not hold the first-half advantage. Chico State’s response earned a point after the Wildcats created sustained pressure. Both teams will look for more effective finishing in matches separated by only a few chances.
