The confirmed details
Mason Vanney opened the scoring for Ventura County in the 29th minute following a Daniel Ittycheria assist. Giuliano Whitchurch answered seven minutes later after a Liam Lambert corner.

CSB Take
The draw and shootout are separate parts of the result: both clubs earned a point for the draw, and Ventura County collected the additional point. The visitors’ finishing from the spot decided that bonus.
