The Stockton Ports will host the inaugural Dog Days of Fall festival Nov. 7 at Banner Island Ballpark. The event runs from noon to 5 p.m., according to the club’s Sept. 28 announcement.
The announcement and its context
The festival will feature specialty hot dogs, vendors, live music and activities. Planned menu options include a macaroni-and-cheese hot dog, a pickle-themed dog and a pineapple-topped creation.
Admission is $12 per person. Parking costs $10 and will be available for purchase on the event day. Food and beverages are sold separately, and the club said menu availability may change.
CSB Take
The event gives fans another reason to visit the ballpark after baseball season. Anyone planning a visit should budget separately for admission, parking and food rather than treating the ticket as a meal package.
