GVRD reported March 26 that staff had installed solar lighting at the Vallejo Seaweed’s Wilson Park restrooms and the exterior of the baseball grandstand.
A partial facility improvement precedes the season decision
The maintenance update also said the district was waiting for an insurance assessment of the wire theft. Staff had met with city officials about a potential park-improvement grant.
The solar work covered those facility areas. The later Pecos League notice still reported that the electrical problem prevented the Seaweed’s 2026 season.
