The California State University, Stanislaus women’s tennis team will compete in the 2026 San José State Hidden Duals from November 6-8, facing NCAA Division I opponents from San José State, Santa Clara University, and the University of Nevada. The competition offers the Stanislaus State Warriors a valuable opportunity to gain experience against Mountain West and West Coast Conference teams ahead of their spring season schedule.
Matches will be held Friday and Sunday at the San José State Tennis Center and Saturday at the Santa Clara University Tennis Center. The Warriors will open play Friday at 9 a.m. against Santa Clara before a noon session versus San José State. Saturday features matches at Santa Clara University against Nevada at noon and San José State at 1 p.m. The event concludes Sunday with games versus Nevada at 9 a.m. and Santa Clara at noon in San José.
Head coach Verek Visaraga will lead a six-player roster comprising four returning athletes—including senior Abbigail Mulick and sophomores Emi Mikami, Katrine Damkjær, and Alessandra Del Pino Carvajal—as well as two transfers, junior Nica Sobrapena and Lisa Lieberman. During the ITA West Regional Championships earlier this fall, Mikami extended her singles win streak to four matches, while Sobrapena contributed multiple victories in singles and doubles, highlighting the squad’s competitive progress.
The Hidden Duals format includes six-game pro set doubles matches and best-of-three full-set singles. This event will be a critical test for the Warriors as they continue developing their singles depth and doubles partnerships against higher-level NCAA Division I opponents prior to returning to PacWest Conference play in the spring.
