Los Angeles Dodgers prospect Eduardo Quintero doubled and drove in a run in the Glendale Desert Dogs’ 13–9 loss to the Salt River Rafters on Oct. 9. Quintero went 1-for-2 and scored a run. Glendale scored nine times but could not match Salt River’s offense.
How the game unfolded
Dodgers pitcher Cody Morse recorded two outs without allowing a run. Both outs came on strikeouts, and he allowed one hit without a walk. The appearance gave Morse a scoreless entry in his Arizona Fall League game log.
Chase Harlan drew a walk and scored for Glendale despite going hitless in four at-bats. Charles Davalan also drew a walk for the Desert Dogs. Salt River finished with 16 hits to Glendale’s 10.
CSB Take
Quintero and Morse provided useful individual work within a difficult team result. Glendale’s scoring kept the game active, but the larger hit total on the other side proved hard to overcome. The Dodgers can continue following those player-level performances as the next Fall League opportunities arrive.
