CSB Take

Cal State San Marcos demonstrated early competitiveness, particularly during the opening set, but could not sustain momentum against a highly ranked Fresno Pacific team that excelled in key statistical categories. The upcoming home rematch offers the Cougars an important chance to recalibrate and improve their execution against a top conference opponent. Continued contributions from key players will be crucial as CSUSM works to improve its standing within the CCAA.
