The Chapman Panthers defeated the Redlands Bulldogs 36–14 on Oct. 10 in Redlands. Fischer Huss ran for 124 yards and three touchdowns before halftime as Chapman built a 29–0 lead. The Panthers earned their fourth consecutive victory.
Huss leads the ground attack
Huss scored on runs of five, 34 and 21 yards during the first half. Eli Brandt added a rushing touchdown in each half as all five Chapman touchdowns came on the ground. Redlands answered with two long scoring plays later in the game.
Chapman’s defense recorded 13 tackles for loss, including four sacks. Jacob Gaudi led the Panthers with eight tackles. The result extended Chapman’s SCIAC winning streak to 11 games, the longest in program history.
CSB Take
Chapman created a decisive first-half advantage through strong rushing production and stops behind the line. That cushion allowed the Panthers to handle Redlands’ later response. The Bulldogs need a more competitive start to keep their second-half offense from arriving after the game has opened up.
