LA Launch’s women’s pair missed the 2026 AVP League championship field after finishing level with San Diego Smash in wins and match points.
The head-to-head result settles the cutoff
Maddie Anderson and Alaina Chacon lost the qualifying tiebreaker because San Diego held the head-to-head result from their Aug. 7 meeting in Frisco, Texas.
The AVP confirmed that outcome in its review of the final regular-season weekend. San Diego joined the six-team women’s field for the September championship in Chicago.
