The Long Beach Coast will participate in the 2026 KBO Fall League in Ulsan, South Korea, from Oct. 15–31. The club announced the invitation Oct. 8, with Don Wakamatsu returning to the dugout to manage the squad.
The confirmed details
The roster will include a core from Long Beach’s 2026 team and current or former players from other Pioneer Baseball League clubs. The announcement identified Oakland Ballers and Yuba-Sutter Freebirds players among that group.
John McLaren will join the coaching staff. The former MLB manager brings international experience that includes coaching Team USA and managing China in the World Baseball Classic.
CSB Take
The trip gives participating players another development setting after the Pioneer League season. Long Beach’s championship-series appearance now leads into competition against Korean fall-league opposition.
