Oakland Roots SC closes its regular season with two scheduled road matches. Roots visits FC Tulsa on Saturday, Oct. 17, before facing Sacramento Republic FC on Oct. 24. The fixtures follow Oakland’s final scheduled home match at the Coliseum.
The closing schedule
The Tulsa match is set for 5 p.m. Pacific time at ONEOK Field. Oakland’s schedule then lists a 7 p.m. kickoff in Sacramento. Republic’s official match report also confirms the Oct. 24 regular-season finale.
Roots earned a 0–0 draw in its Oct. 3 visit to Colorado Springs. That match showed its ability to protect a road result under pressure. The upcoming fixtures require another round of performances away from home.
CSB Take
Finishing with consecutive road games gives Oakland a clear closing challenge. Defensive organization can keep those matches competitive, but stronger attacking output would improve its chances. The final two fixtures provide the remaining regular-season opportunities to deliver both.
