How the match unfolded
Amando Moreno opened the scoring in the 30th minute. Jimmy Farkarlun added the second goal before the break. El Paso entered halftime with a 2–0 advantage.
Hegardt reduced the deficit in the 51st minute after an assist from Marcelo Palomino. Orange County continued searching for an equalizer. El Paso protected the remaining one-goal margin through the final whistle.
CSB Take
Orange County’s second-half response kept the contest within reach. The two earlier concessions still left too much ground to recover. Starting more securely would give its later attacking pressure a better chance to influence the result.
