CSB Take
The defeat underscores difficulties for the No. 19 USC women’s volleyball team in maintaining offensive efficiency against a disciplined Pepperdine defense. Despite strong individual efforts in defense and digging, USC’s overall hitting struggles contributed to the straight-set loss. The Trojans will seek recovery and improved execution in their next nonconference match versus UC Santa Barbara on September 20.
