Saint Mary’s College of California men’s tennis team made history with a 6-0 sweep of the California Golden Bears at the Jack Kramer Invitational held in Rolling Hills Estates, California, on October 30, 2026. This victory marked the Gaels’ first-ever sweep of Cal and their first head-to-head dual match win against the Golden Bears since 2000.

Continuing their strong weekend, the Gaels also earned dual wins against Loyola Marymount University and Cal Poly, with notable doubles victories by Loh and Dyer. Meanwhile, at the Pacific Invite in Stockton, Saint Mary’s swept Menlo College 6-0 and closed the weekend with a 2-1 record after losses to UC Davis and Santa Clara. Freshman Devin Stuppin remained undefeated in doubles throughout the Pacific Invite, finishing 3-0 and securing a key doubles win against Santa Clara.
