The San Diego Sockers announced their 2026–27 Major Arena Soccer League schedule Oct. 1. Their title defense begins Nov. 28 at Frontwave Arena against the Empire Strykers.
The confirmed details
Each of the league’s nine clubs will play 24 matches, split evenly between home and away. Six teams will qualify for the playoffs under the single-table format.
San Diego will face Empire six times, its most frequent opponent. The Sockers also have four matches each against Tacoma and Baltimore, with their home regular-season finale set for April 4 against Kansas City.
CSB Take
The Southern California rivalry will be a repeated test throughout the season. Six meetings with Empire give the Sockers and Strykers a substantial part of their schedules against each other.
