Ventura College swept Allan Hancock College 3–0 in women’s volleyball Oct. 2. The Pirates won 25–19, 25–11, 25–13 to take the match in three sets.
Set scores and key performances
Addison Olson recorded 10 kills with one error in 17 attempts, good for a .529 hitting percentage. Olson also finished with five service aces and four digs.
Ventura totaled 39 kills and eight attack errors, hitting .392 as a team. Allan Hancock finished with 16 kills and a .070 hitting percentage.

The opening set was the closest, with Ventura winning by six points. The Pirates widened the gap in the final two sets and prevented the Bulldogs from extending the match.
