Stanford Cardinal men's golf prepares for the OFCC/Fighting Illini Invitational September 18-20 at Olympia Fields Country Club, led by preseason All-American Jay Leng in a competitive 15-team field.

Stanford Cardinal men’s golf will compete in the OFCC/Fighting Illini Invitational from September 18-20, 2026, at Olympia Fields Country Club’s renovated South Course in Olympia Fields, Illinois. The 54-hole tournament features a challenging 7,215-yard, par-70 layout and a strong 15-team field including nationally ranked opponents like Florida, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, and LSU.

Stanford enters the tournament ranked No. 13, bringing a lineup led by Edan Cui at No. 1, junior Jay Leng at No. 2, Giovanni Binaghi, Cooper Stearns, and newcomer Carlo Roman at No. 5. Daniel Zou will compete as an individual entrant. Leng earned preseason accolades as a Golf Channel and Golfweek First Team All-American and earned a spot on the 2026-27 Haskins Award Preseason Watch List. He won The Western Amateur in summer 2026 and claimed the Elite Amateur Cup title, securing exemptions to several PGA TOUR events and 2027 U.S. Open Final Qualifying.

Stanford has a history of success at Olympia Fields, capturing team titles in 2011 and 2022 and producing six individual medalists across tournament history. The Cardinal utilizes a “play five, keep four” scoring format. Tee times on the first two days begin at 8 a.m. local time with Stanford teeing off Friday at 9:30 a.m. from hole one.
