Senior forward/midfielder Anja Jestrovic secured the Big West Offensive Player of the Week honor following her four-goal contributions over two matches in late October for the California Baptist University Lancers women’s soccer team.
During the week of October 28 and October 31, 2026, Jestrovic scored twice in each game. She helped the Lancers attain a 4-2 victory at Sacramento State and a 3-3 draw at Cal State Fullerton, matching her career high marks for goals and points in a single contest.
Jestrovic opened scoring at Cal State Fullerton with a goal from outside the box and scored a penalty kick in the Sacramento State match’s second half. She ranks fifth in the Big West Conference with seven goals this season, leading the Lancers’ scoring efforts. With 15 goals and 14 assists over two seasons, her assist total is just one shy of California Baptist’s single-season record set by Yvette Vascones in 1999.
California Baptist University will host the No. 5 seed Cal Poly Mustangs in the Big West postseason quarterfinal at CBU Soccer Stadium on November 4, 2026, at 7 p.m.
