The Fort Wayne TinCaps defeated the Lansing Lugnuts 10–3 in 11 innings on Sept. 6 at Jackson Field.
The hitting and pitching results
Rosman Verdugo went 1-for-6 for TinCaps and drove in four runs. The performance included one home run. Tanner Marsh went 1-for-3 for Lugnuts and drove in one run.
Carson Montgomery worked one inning for the TinCaps, allowing no earned runs and striking out one batter. The TinCaps took the lead for good in the 11th inning.

The TinCaps finished with a 7-run winning margin. That separation kept the result secure, while the losing side could not limit the damage enough to mount a close challenge.
