The San Diego Strike Force extended head coach Taylor Genuser and defensive coordinator Adam Shackleford through 2028, the IFL announced Sept. 3.
Continuity follows a franchise-record regular season
The agreements followed a franchise-record 13-3 regular season and San Diego’s first No. 1 seed in the Western Conference.
Genuser was named the 2026 IFL Coach of the Year. Shackleford joined his staff before the 2025 season and helped guide the defensive side of the team’s progress.
