The September trade and later move

The Kings sent Sioux Falls the rights to Mo Bamba and Dexter Dennis. They also included a 2027 first-round G League draft pick. Black and Monsanto’s rights came from Capital City.

Monsanto averaged 10.6 points and shot 42.9 percent from 3-point range in 36 G League games during 2025–26. Black brought experience from both NBA and G League competition. Stockton later moved Fudge’s rights in its Oct. 1 trade for David Muoka and Kacper Klaczek.

CSB Take

The September deal added different skill sets to Stockton’s development options. Monsanto’s outside shooting is one identifiable strength in that group. The later trade also shows that returning-player rights can remain part of ongoing roster construction.
