The Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, acquired the returning player rights to forward Blake Hinson from the Rip City Remix as part of a three-team trade involving the Rip City Remix and Delaware Blue Coats, the team announced on October 29, 2026.
As part of the transaction, Stockton sent guard Damari Monsanto to Delaware and its 2028 first-round NBA G League Draft pick to Rip City. The Rip City Remix received Delaware’s 2028 second-round NBA G League Draft pick and the returning player rights to Nathan Mariano and Aminu Mohammed from the Blue Coats.
Blake Hinson, a 6-foot-8 forward, has experience on two-way NBA contracts with the Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz. He appeared in 14 games with Utah last season, averaging 11.9 points and 2.4 rebounds per game while shooting 46.8 percent from three-point range. Hinson led the NBA G League in three-pointers made with 126 during the 2024-25 season as a member of the Santa Cruz Warriors. In the 2025-26 season, he averaged 23.4 points per game across 32 games with the Rip City Remix and Salt Lake City Stars.
Collegiately, Hinson played four seasons at Ole Miss and Pittsburgh, totaling 1,707 points and 298 three-pointers. He was a two-time All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection at Pittsburgh, receiving first-team honors in 2023-24 and setting the program’s single-season record with 110 three-pointers.
CSB Take
By acquiring the returning player rights to Blake Hinson, the Stockton Kings have added a forward with proven scoring ability and NBA experience to their roster. Hinson’s elite three-point shooting and consistent G League production should enhance Stockton’s offensive options as they prepare for the upcoming NBA G League season. This transaction reflects the team’s approach to building a roster with players capable of making an immediate impact.
