Redlands dominated shots in the opening half, but La Verne outshot Redlands 13-0 in the second half, converting goals in the 69th and 73rd minutes to secure the 2-1 victory. Goalkeeper Nicole Immoos made several important saves throughout the contest, including two in the final minutes of the first half and others midway through the second half.
Offensive efforts from Claire August, Jessica Chavez, and Averie Stunz helped Redlands maintain initial momentum, but the Bulldogs could not withstand La Verne’s late second-half surge. With the loss, University of Redlands fell to 2-5-0 overall and 1-1-0 in conference play.
The Bulldogs will return to Farquhar Field on September 26, 2026, to host Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at 5:00 p.m.
CSB Take
Taylor Tidquist’s back-to-back goals position her as a key offensive player for the University of Redlands women’s soccer team this season. The Bulldogs demonstrated strong first-half control but must improve their endurance and defensive efforts to withstand second-half pressure. Their upcoming home game against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps offers a vital opportunity to rebound and gain momentum in SCIAC competition.
